Export and Import a Docker image

To save a Docker image and run it on another host, use the save and load commands.

Assuming you already have an image called my_image:

docker save my_image > /path/to/image.tar

Then copy the tar file to another host and load the image:

docker load < /path/to/image.tar

To check that it worked, run the docker images command.
