Docker: run ubuntu, get a terminal, exit

Pull the ubuntu image:

docker pull ubuntu

Run it as a daemon:

docker run -i -d -t ubuntu /bin/bash

Find its name (in this case, its named silly_kalam)

docker ps -a

Open a terminal into the instance:

docker attach silly_kalam

Exit the terminal without stopping the container:

ctrl + p, ctrl + q
